Just thought i would introduce myself. Looking to move into the Waterloo area end of June this year from the UK. Looks like you guys have a pretty good bike scene and I am looking forward to exploring the area ! Myself I do mostly cyclo X and MTB racing, with a few RR for good measure, when I am not doing that I help run races at my current club. Out of interest when does the CX season start and how far do have to travel from Waterloo to get a race in ?

Good to hear that we will have another 'crosser moving to the area.
Our CX season usually starts the second week of September and goes until the end of November.
You can get a pretty full season in without having to drive more than 2 hours. Most of the races are within 1-1.5 hours driving. If you go the cyclocrossontario.com that is the hub of the southern ontario scene.
