The New Web Site Is Online

Our new web site is alive!  Although you might think that this is just another web site, it's not.  It's our new community information portal.  Using the dura-ace of web content management systems, we're now able to make use of a bunch of new web features.  It might not make you ride faster right away, but we're hoping that these features help us communicate better about all aspects of riding.  Polls, WebForms, User Maintained Content, Page Subscriptions, and probably some other stuff that I'm forgetting about are going to be used, so hang on.

We did make a decision early in our web migration project that we hope you are understanding about.  We only migrated content from the old site that we thought was critical.  Yes, I'm sure there are some pages on the old site that you would like to see, so, please don't hesitate to drop me an email.  Time and energy permitting, I'll try to address it in some manner.  Also, we didn't migrate any of the users so, you'll have to create an account on this web site to participate in forums, polls, or subscribe to pages.  We only ask for your email address, name and city.  We will not share your email address with anyone. 

Lastly, when you signup for an account on this web site, it doesn't make you a member of WCC.  You can't join WCC rides (see more about insurance on the membership page).  BUT, you can use this web site fully.  Participate in forums and all the other stuff that we'll be doing here.
