With fairly gentle winds from the NE, I was considering this route:

At 61km it’s one of our longer rides, but these are our longest evenings.

The weather predictions don’t look good though. Environment Canada gives a “high likelihood of precipitation”, and the radar shows storms approaching from the west. If it’s raining or wet out, I’m unlikely to ride, and I suspect the other ride leaders might feel the same 🙂 We’ll post something later when the situation is hopefully more clear.

We are the intermediate part of the Thursday Group Ride. You must be a current club member to ride with us.

    Thanks,
    Giles, April, Dan.

Doesn’t look bad at the moment, so I’ll heading out to Rim Park now…

Few riders out tonight, although it turned out to be a fine evening. A few drops of rain at one point, but not nearly enough to even wet the road. We even had some sunshine for a while, and so little wind it was not noticeable. The temperate was even reasonable.

Only 8 people in our group, which meant it was fairly compact, and we rode well together. Route was as advertised:

Adam wins the #WattageBazooka for muscling his rain bike around the loop, where all it did was slow him down. There was not really enough water around to make the fenders worthwhile!

    Thanks for the ride.
