Weather is looking good for our ride time tomorrow, but the storms are supposed to roll in towards the end. The temperature is also supposed to start to spike closer to 11am.
This week I am proposing to follow the FF riders south for a short distance (we don’t have to keep up with them), then head towards Drumbo, return north via Baden. After Sandyhills we can decide whether to take an extra 10km or stick to 70km.
Depending on construction around Columbia, we may alter the route to get to Ira Needles – probably via university ave.

I have posted a couple of options – 71km and an 83km. As a group we can decide on ultimate distance.

The Fondo rides meet at the Sobeys Plaza, Columbia and Fischer-Hallman. It’s still June so we’re starting at 8:30am.

Look forward to a fun ride,

The weather played its part today – No Rain. It was warm due to the humidity though and the temp felt like it started to rise towards the end of the ride.
We stayed to the 71km course as posted.

The group held together well and with a much needed water refill half way through the ride (at Brian’s brother’s farm) everyone was able to survive.

For future rides we will try and plan a coffee/water stop along the route to give everyone a chance to refill water or caffeine.

Thanks to everyone that came out today,

    Dan
