2nd Women’s Social Ride – August 12

2nd Women’s Social Ride on August 12th, 2017

Meet @ 9:00am at Health Valley Trail, St. Jacobs – Parking Lot
(click here for a link to the map)

Joining a group ride is a great way to meet like-minded women – you’ll learn more about the local routes, pick up some mechanical tips along the way, and probably make some new friends. All skill levels are welcome!

There will be two group rides offered – a road group for women riding an average speed of 25 km/h and another road group riding at an average speed of 20 km/h. Both group rides will be about 2 hours long and about 40 km in distance with a stop at Block 3 Beer Brewery & Eco Cafe in St. Jacobs.

This “Try-Out Ride” event is available to existing Waterloo Cycling Club members and their friends who are not members of the club, but would like to try group riding. Please note, The Try-Out Program through the Ontario Cycling Association has a rule that a rider is only allowed on one Try-Out Ride, so if you attended the first one back in June and are still not a member, unfortunately you can’t attend this one.

We’ll have Ziggy’s Cycle representative & mechanic for on-hand training and answering questions & Cycling Swag Giveaways!

Want to test ride a new road bike?
Go see Marta at Ziggy’s Cycle and Sport during the week prior to the event.

We hope to see you there!
